Does the California Lemon Law apply to used or leased cars?
Yes. As long as the vehicle is still under the manufacturer’s original or certified pre-owned warranty, used and leased vehicles may be covered.
How many repairs are required before I can file a Lemon Law claim?
Typically, 2 or more attempts for a serious safety issue or 4 or more attempts for a general defect, may qualify.
You may also be eligible if your vehicle has spent 30 or more total days at the dealer during the warranty period.
What kind of compensation can I receive?
