GEORGE MKRTCHYAN ESQ

From Overwhelmed to Empowered: The Court House Lawyers story

Our firm was born from a simple idea: people deserve a guide they can trust and understand when the legal system feels like a different language.

Court House Lawyers began when George Mkrtchyan, Esq. saw too many good people getting lost in procedure, feeling pressured by insurance companies, or silenced by jargon. He built a client-first practice where honesty is standard, communication is constant, and strategy is tailored to the person—not just the paperwork. Today, our team stands shoulder-to-shoulder with clients across California, combining clear counsel with fierce advocacy in and out of the courtroom. For contingency matters, we work on a No Win, No Fee basis, aligning our incentives with your outcome and keeping the focus where it belongs—on your recovery and your future. Clients never feel like case numbers; they get a plan, easy to understand updates, and a lawyer who will push until the outcome matches the harm.

GEORGE MKRTCHYAN ESQ

George Mkrtchyan, Esq.

Managing Attorney

George Mkrtchyan is the founding attorney and lead strategist of Court House Lawyers, representing clients across Southern California in personal injury, premises liability, and lemon law matters. As Managing Attorney, he oversees legal strategy, client intake, and trial preparation—aligning investigative work, negotiations, and courtroom advocacy so every case moves with purpose.

George entered the workforce at 16 and discovered a passion for advocacy early on. Before launching the firm, he gained hands-on experience across worker’s compensation, lemon law, personal injury, and contract law. That breadth shapes his client-first approach today: clear communication, realistic expectations, and aggressive representation aimed at real results.

His measured, detail-driven style is no accident. George is a PADI-certified scuba diver with shipwreck and deep-diver training—disciplines that reward preparation, staying calm under pressure, and precise judgment. The same mindset guides his litigation strategy and trial readiness, from evidence building to expert coordination. For contingency cases, the firm operates on a No Win, No Fee basis, keeping incentives aligned with client outcomes.

When he isn’t in the office or the courtroom, George is likely playing sports or spending time with family and Charlie, the family dog. If you or someone you know needs guidance after an injury or car-related issue, George is ready to help—one case at a time.

Grant Abadzhyan, JD

Case Manager

Grant pairs law-school training with real-world client management experience to deliver calm, organized guidance from intake to resolution. Before entering the legal field, he oversaw substantial client portfolios, mastering the art of juggling many moving parts without losing sight of what matters most—the person behind each file. Driven by a commitment to advocacy and results, he earned his JD and joined Court House Lawyers, where he now coordinates the day-to-day momentum of cases and the human experience that surrounds them.

Grant is known for his responsiveness and proactive communication. He keeps clients informed, gathers and organizes records, tracks deadlines, schedules appointments, and collaborates closely with the legal team so strategy and execution stay perfectly aligned. His goal is simple: make the process clear, reduce stress, and position every matter for the strongest possible outcome.

Outside the office, Grant recharges with his son, daughter, and their energetic puppy—often over a chess board or a soccer ball. That mix of patience, foresight, and teamwork shows up in his case work every day.

We started this firm to make legal help clear, accessible, and human.

Every client should feel heard, informed, and supported—every step of the way.
